Caris is confused by this encounter… such uncharacteristic behaviour by Grey leaves her at once confused and so glad that he’s back (what the hell is a chingaso?? did he take one of her chingus from her belt? why?) “wait! Grey?” she yells out to the crowd.. not seeing the direction he went.

He’s just going to leave us here in his house?” Caris sits up amongst the pile of comrades she had just awoken with and says to no one in particular, “Yesterday was a lot of fun, and Cassiel seems nice enough… does anyone find it odd the level of familiarity he is showing us? I mean… we just met the man.”
June 26, 2016 at 6:15 am #1850Caris smiles at Hroth as he offers his hand up. She looks to Stern to try to get a read of what’s happened in the cabin. His face looks calm if not wistful even. Although parts of his conversation with Cassiel leaked through the cabin walls, she didn’t catch most of it. It appears that her dear Stern has met with a bretheren of his Lord Krom, the uniqueness of that not lost on Caris after finding her people in Shen Ling.
She smiles at Cassiel and thanks him, looks over her shoulder at Lone Bear and looks back at Cassiel, “what about our friend out there, shall he come in too?”
May 26, 2016 at 8:06 pm #1816After Caris finishes giggling over the exchange between Grey and Grognak and the artfully posted image offered by Stern, she finally speaks up.
“There is something strange here and we should investigate” Looking at Stern she says, “all of this seems related to Krom, but who would want to make a fake event, and an epic one at that? There was no damage done that we know of, yet Grey’s scout is strangely missing… I can understand if Tak was unsure of you.. but you’ve been teaching these kids the way of Krom.. perhaps word has spread? I just don’t know what to make of it other than we need to see what happened to Tak.”
May 26, 2016 at 7:25 pm #1814Caris, never one for accepting praise easily, lowers her eyes in humility. She takes the pipe from the old man and looks to Evon for his o.k… am I going to be able to handle what ever he’s got in this pipe? she tries to ask him telepathically.
Looking to the old man, Caris replies, “We’ve rid this world of an evil, but surely you know that there is always evil and mischief about. We seem to always find it if it is, right Hroth?” Caris winks at Hroth and brings the pipe up to her lips.
March 24, 2016 at 6:51 pm #1730Caris sits back and regards Evon over her cup of fragrant tea. She looks around the beautiful gardens and levels her eyes at him. “It is quite overwhelming, Evon.” taking a small sip from her cup, “For years I’ve only known the love and affection that I received from my comrades. We are so very close… closer than some might think is appropriate.”
This causes a grin to spread over her face as she remembers the look of many an inn keeper that rented her group just one room to share for the night.
“Now to find Shen Ling and it’s people, I feel such a bond to everything and everyone… and it’s a mutual bond to be sure…well,” she pauses and her gaze moves to the vibrant flowering array behind Evon’s right shoulder, she appears to be lost in a memory for a moment, “He…he…was a surprise.”
Caris felt her cheeks flush at the thought of him, she attempted to put her cup down and almost spilled her tea as she missed the saucer. Clearing her throat, she squared her shoulders and looked again at Evon. “I do believe I love this man. As far as marriage is concerned, he has not asked me… but I would consider it. I do not take this sort of thing lightly. There are things…we’d have to discuss first.”

Caris giggles at the sight of Hroth precariously perched upon his donkey and fine robes. Yes the massage and cleansing was divine. It feels as if they all have been anointed and set to path, recharged and ready for new things.
She finds herself quite pleased and at peace now, currently among her comrades. Thoughts of Shen Ling and it’s Lord still cloud her mind and draw her to return soon. The connection still pulling at her heart. But for now, she clears those thoughts, and sets eyes on the path ahead.

December 11, 2015 at 9:34 pm #1682Caris breathlessly looks once more at Lay Yu as she taunts her brother, she turns and finds herself face to face with Daidoji once again. The surrounding festivities fall away as she takes him in.. this man… what is it about him that has her in this state?? This is’t like her… calm, stoic Caris (yes, she had a moment with the Pine brothers… but for the most part.. she’s been pretty chaste) This man.. he’s different.. yet kindred. She feels he is as much a part of her as she is feeling for this land.
“Hello Sir…. have you come to ask me for a dance?”
